In the heart of Dubai's prestigious Meydan neighbourhood, an ambitious project has been launched that promises to revolutionise branded housing. Binghatti Properties, in partnership with legendary auto giant Mercedes-Benz, has unveiled Mercedes-Benz City, a complete urban neighbourhood where luxury meets innovation. It is not just a residential complex, but an entire ecosystem inspired by Mercedes' design and philosophy, which has become a real hit in the UAE property market.
The launch took place on 15 January 2026 at Meydan Racecourse, attracting a record 25,000 guests. The evening was hosted by Hollywood actor Terry Crews, and the atmosphere was reminiscent of a grand show: light installations, music and presentation of layouts. The project is estimated to cost 30 billion dirhams (about $8.2 billion) and cover more than 10 million square feet. There are plans to build 12 high-rise towers with more than 13,000 residences ranging from studios to five-bedroom penthouses. Prices start at Dh1.6 million for studios, Dh2.6 million for one-bedrooms, Dh3 million for two-bedrooms and around Dh5 million for three-bedrooms.
The centre of the neighbourhood will be Grand Promenade, a green avenue with shops, restaurants and recreational areas. Residents will have access to premium amenities: cyber sports lounges, ballrooms, fitness centres, swimming pools, sports clubs for padel, squash and other sports. The architecture combines the futuristic lines of Mercedes with urban comfort - the towers resemble car silhouettes and the interiors are imbued with the brand's style. The location is perfect: in Nad Al Sheba, near Meydan.
This is the second collaboration between Binghatti and Mercedes. The first one - a tower in Downtown, launched in 2024 - went off like hotcakes, confirming the demand for branded housing. Experts note that such projects increase liquidity: investors see prices rising by 30-40 per cent at the expense of prestige. ‘This is not just a house, but a lifestyle,’ comment realtors. Amid Dubai's property boom, Mercedes-Benz City is attracting billionaires and celebrities looking for exclusivity.
The project will be completed in three phases in about 3.5 years, by mid to late 2029, and it is already causing a stir: the first phases, like the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, are selling out at lightning speed. Dubai is again proving its status as the capital of innovation, where cars inspire cities. If you're looking for an investment with a wow effect, this is your chance - but hurry, places are selling out fast!
